Art In Nature Preschooler Series: Snow Crystals
At the Fells, Newbury, NH 10am – 11am. Participants create three-dimensional models. Lauren Cole-Johnson combines direct outdoor experiences with artistic media such as paint, clay, paper-mache and print-making to increase children’s awareness, curiosity and appreciation of the natural world through opportunities for creative artistic expression. Wheelchair Basketball
VA ‘Wheelies’ vs. Sunapee ‘Normies’ at the Sunapee Middle/High School Gym at 6pm featuring the Sunapee Fire Department and Disables Veterans from the VA New England Healthcare System. Free Admission, 50/50 Raffle to benefit the NEHSA (New England Handicapped Sports Association).

Comedy Night at the OCIC (New London Outing Club Indoor Center) General Seating, Door open at 7:15pm and show starts at 8:00pm. Adult Humor – ages 18 and up. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Dinner with Jack Frost - Progressive Snowshoe Dinner
New London Town Common 6pm – 8pm. As a family you snowshoe or sled around the New London Town Common via tiki torches to 6 – 8 designated bonfires. Each bonfire will be a sponsoring restaurant from town which will provide one of their trademark entrees, beverages and/or desserts for your family. As you progress through the stations you will enjoy music, campfires and a beautiful moonlit night. Snowshoe rentals will be available through the Rec Department and Village Sports. $10 per person /Ages 5 and under are FREE. Members of your Emergency Management Committee, in conjunction with the Greater Sullivan County Public Health Network (PHN) and the Lake Sunapee Region VNA, have been closely monitoring the statewide and local response to the H1N1 influenza. At this time, as the State moves into Phase 4
of its vaccination plan, the PHN is offering the following free local clinics (including one in New London) to anyone over 4 years old:

THESE CLINICS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE AGES 4 YEARS AND OLDER. At this time, both the flu mist and the injected vaccine will be available. Parents of children under 4 are encouraged to seek the vaccine through the child's pediatrician or primary care provider.
The following populations are especially encouraged to receive the vaccine to protect themselves and others from serious complications from H1N1:
- Pregnant women;
- People caring for or living with infants younger than 6 months (including partners of pregnant women);
- People with asthma, COPD and other chronic conditions; and
- People under 25 years of age
