Where I’ve Lived….
I feel lucky, as most of my adult life has been spent living in ski resort areas. After graduating from UMass/Amherst, MA, I moved to the Sierra Nevadas in CA to Pinecrest, located between Tahoe and Yosemite. Obviously it was destiny as this is where I met my husband, Rick Flint. After a number of years in sunny California, it was time for a change so we relocated to a small ski resort in southern NH, then to Sunday River Ski Resort in Bethel, Maine, then lived at 10,000 feet in southern Utah at Brian Head Ski Resort (population around 100 year round residents with an average snowfall of 400 inches a year!). We have been residents of New London since 2000.
Before Real Estate….
Actually I’ve been in real estate since 1994. However, in my previous life, I owned and operated a bed and breakfast, ran a reservations department at a ski resort, and worked as a professional forester for the US Forest Service in California for 9 years (yes –I have a degree in Forestry –destined from birth I say).
What’s the Scariest Thing I’ve Ever Done?
I would have to say it’s when I parachuted out of a perfectly good airplane for the fun of it! The second most heart pounding experience is when I went white water rafting on the Tuolumne River in California (a Class IV river).
Things You Don’t Know About Me….
Not only do I enjoy people with a dry sense of humor, I also enjoy a good dry martini!
I also have created a new business with my husband, Rick Flint. It's a home watch service for absentee homeowners and you can view all the details at www.FourSeasonsHW.com!
